I just found out Emancipator and Blockhead are playing together at a small local venue next month. Sweet.

Huh, sucks for them. He didn't butcher anything at all, it was great! Though apparently we missed like 5 songs in the beginning. When this venue says 8, I think they mean it. We still got a solid 2 hours despite missing the beginning, though. And the encore included "You Fucked Up" and "Touch My Tooter"...awesome.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I would be seeing the Pixies in April, but no, instead I'm visiting relatives in Quebec. Oh well, things could be worse...

Animal Collective in May! I'm thinking about dropping some acid and literally blowing my mind!

Gutted.
I was disappointed about that, especially as I enjoyed their new album and would dearly like to have heard it live. But the upside was that Kora filled in for them, and having seen them twice, I'd consider them a worthy replacement.

Ahhh you're so lucky! I love Kora. We've got Paul Dempsey filling in for the Australian shows and he's okay but nothing special. I almost bought a ticket to the Auckland BDO, now I wish I did.... ours is going to be 40 degrees tomorrow too :S

It was astounding! Nick Cave was launching himself all over the stage and Warren Ellis was falling over and dancing to the music the whole time. I loved that they were constantly deviating from the written music to impromptu jamming and screechy distortions. My first time seeing Nick Cave and definitely one of the best concerts i've been to in a long while.
