Dick Dale coming up in a couple of weeks. I've seen him several times already over many years, but he always puts on a great show so I'm going again.

Yep, they went and did it. Probably because I was yelling it quite loudly at them through their entire set.



Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by both Skynyrd and Bad Co. Both had solid performances.

Going to see The Gregg Allman Band a few days after I see Dick Dale. I go to see the Allman Brothers Band every year, but I haven't seen The Gregg Allman Band since 1998. He plays mostly songs from his solo albums with a few re-worked Allman Brothers classics. Looking forward to it!

Some friends are organizing some big event with lots of glowing stuff and collective soul ****, tons of bands, poi classes, meditation crap etc. etc. They do this a lot, and I never go because it's usually not my scene and I can't stand raver kids, but I think I'm actually gonna attend this one. Pretty proud of them folks for actually taking this event/promotion **** to a decently lucrative level.

They won't admit it because that would compromise the 'message', but they're a bunch of ****ing marketing geniuses. They've been hyping this event up as a meeting between mankind and aliens.... and people are eating it right the hell up.
