Can't make the Foos show, unfortunately, but I am seeing Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto on August 12 (more excited for Streetlight), as well as Blink-182 on August 17. My Chemical Romance and Manchester Orchestra are opening that one but I don't care for MCR, and haven't listened to Manchester Orchestra.

Sljslj 06-14-2011 04:42 PM

Finally gonna Devin Townsend live! I'm so excited! Bodom's headlining, but I don't give two ****s about them.

<3JuliC 06-14-2011 05:47 PM

Rebecca Black! In Australia! Hopefully Benni Cinkle will be with her!

Robin333 06-15-2011 03:36 PM

Foo Fighters, Thirty seconds to mars, rise against, eminem, within temptation, the offspring, duck sauce !!!!!!! Pukkelpop 2011

jackhammer 06-15-2011 06:37 PM

Gene Loves Jezebel, The Mission and (a small explosion downstairs) Fields Of The Nephilim are playing a one off at Brixton Academy in October.

Got a call tonight if I wanted a ticket as they will sell out quickly. YES of course.

Captain Ron 06-15-2011 06:59 PM

the turtles are coming to my town

Nosferatu Man 07-06-2011 09:36 PM

Booked tickets to Pulp at the Brixton Academy at the end of August last night. I have spent the last 9 years praying for a reunion, this is literally the best thing ever.

Tom_goegre54 07-07-2011 04:16 AM

Deadmau5 soon
Rythem and vines at the end of the year
Going to be so sick

zachsd 07-07-2011 04:43 AM

Going (hopefully) to a Swans show in Minneapolis in September. Definitely will have to buy a new pair of earplugs at some point before then...

Also seeing Bob Dylan in a week.

wexy 07-08-2011 11:12 AM

Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium next week
Los Lobos at Prospect Park today.
Coming up, Erasure, Foster The People,Deerhunter, Ra Ra Riot and the Wombats

FRED HALE SR. 07-08-2011 11:18 AM

Official Site of the City National Grove of Anaheim - DEVO

DEVO at the Grove. Been awhile Mothersbaugh better put some gold in his setlist.

James 07-08-2011 04:12 PM

Echo and the Bunnymen in September! Playing Ocean Rain in full in the Glasgow Concert Hall sounds pretty damn awesome to me.

LoathsomePete 07-08-2011 04:20 PM

Absolutely fuck all is playing here this summer, the only show that has me slightly interested is Nekromantix at the end of the month, but that's only to go and try and meet Goth chicks.

The Final Track 07-08-2011 07:53 PM

Bon Iver in august :D

Thom Yorke 07-12-2011 11:11 AM

Just saw U2 last night at the Rogers Centre. I'm not the biggest U2 fan, but the show they put on was pretty incredible. Never seen anything quite like it with that massive spaceship-like stage. They played mostly old stuff too, so I have no complaints.

RVCA 07-16-2011 12:35 AM

Just got back from Bob Dylan. His voice is unrecognizable, and I attribute that mostly to his age.

Still, killer harmonica playing and a great show. Glad to say I got see a living legend.

Mojo 07-16-2011 05:39 AM

My weekend coming up (a few weeks away yet) is gonna be fantastic. I travel through the night and get into London early Friday morning where I will be seeing Iron Maiden at the O2 Arena that night. Then on Saturday I travel to Leeds to see The Music play their final ever gig, in their home city.

I couldn't be more excited.

Bloodstock in just over 3 weeks time. Just a couple of delights:

Kreator
Coroner
Triptykon
Forbidden
Motorhead
Morbid Angel
Exodus
Napalm Death
Angel Witch
Devin Townsend Project (not a big fan but a live show may change my attitude)

Of the main bands on Saturday night I have only heard one band's album. Not good. Anyone suggest a highlight of the night. There are supposed to be another few bands added to the line ups over the next few weeks.

Bloodstock Heavy Metal festivals - UK's largest Independent Heavy Metal Festivals

Let's hope it doesn't rain for the 3 days but England even in August doesn't guarantee decent weather.

Rage Against the Machine 07-19-2011 05:54 PM

The Appleseed Cast - August 29th
Polar Bear Club w/ Fireworks, Balance and Composure, and Make Do & Mend - September 9th

Cannot wait for the second one. That lineup was made for me, it literally mirrors my Last.fm last 3 months charts

That's quite the lineup, I'm pretty jealous, especially for Devin Townsend as I'm assuming most of the material will be from Deconstruction (2011) which is probably my favorite album of the year. Even if you're not a fan of the music, he is a true showman and will always endeavor to put on a memorable performance.

noise 07-19-2011 06:32 PM

It's been ages since I went to a show, but I just got tickets to see Death Cab at Red Rocks. Not the biggest fan, but hey, it's Red Rocks :)

I thought Devin Townsend was awesome live. DTP songs to me seem a bit theatrical and sometimes whimsical and lend themselves better to live performance. You should enjoy it!
