Damn... My Bloody Valentine is spectacular. I would see them over Judas Priest and We Are Scientists any day.

/\ Lucky bastard :D

I think me and a few flatmates are off to see 2 Many DJs in Liverpool sometime in the near future, but tickets are £50 a shot, and there's the train tickets, so I'll have to think about the proposition a bit more

I've got the opportunity to go to Soundwave festival in February because my friend has a spare ticket but I'm not sure if I wanna go or not!
Bands include:
NIN
Alice in Chains
Bloodhound Gang
Lamb of God
Dilinger Escape Plan
Alkaline Trio
Billy Talent
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
In Flames
Anberlin
Underoath
Every Time I Die
Devil Driver
Funeral for a Friend
Less Than Jake
Poison the Well
From First to Last
Hellogoodbye
Finch
Silverstein
Lacuna Coil
Straylight Run
+ heaps heaps more.

I'm not really that into any of the bands in particular but maybe it'll be a good live experience? What do you guys think?

If its free then I'd go, live music is great. Plus if it sucks, you can probably just drink the sound away. My roomates love those kinds of bands, so I'd probably hate it there cause I have to hear how "good" Under****ingOath is all the time.

Lacuna Coil are not that original but I like them. Lamb Of God-brilliant band and of course -NIN. A lot of crap on there too but if you have the money and time, never let the chance of seeing music live pass you by. I have missed many bands over the years for one reason or another and it still annoys me even now.

Hrm. It's $130AU but that doesn't really concern me.

You're right. Live music is always a good experience regardless. I think I might just go then!

Um, no, live music doesn't have to be a good experience, it can also be boring or just plum annoying. I'd avoid making the trip if you're not into the bands, unless it's right outside your door.
