Frogstomp was entertaining when it came out- Israel's SOn is a funny song, very simple but fun

Default Silverchair's New Album..

I have been a Sliverchair fan since Frogstomp and waiting 5 years for their new album, Young & Modern was slightly torturous! It was however well worth the wait in my opinion. Once again they blew me away. I think Daniel Johns is a musical genius! In this world where so many bands continue to release record after record of what seem to be the same songs over and over. It is refreshing to have a band who everytime they release an album it is a completely new sound, but at the same time still staying true to their core choice of music.

Just wanted to get anyone elses thoughts on the new album and their evolution as a band.

Frogstop and any earlier albums by them were just crazy awsome, There more recent albums seem to go away from there earlier releases.

I love all their albums... amazing to watch how they have progressed musically. Not many bands continue to evolve like Silverchair does... problem can be alienating fans I suppose. Just need to listen with an open mind and not expecting them to release another Frogstomp style record.
