It`s because sales of British made albums are at a peak since the mid 90s when you had the likes of Blur , Pulp , Oasis , Massive Attack & The Prodigy all putting out good stuff.

Yeah but there getting a push from Coldplay, people don't deviate in large masses. I don't know, but maybe their comfortable buying brittish **** now. I couldn't tell you.

What I also can't tell you is why "just wanting to dance" is now this nobel-level notion that people are like "OMG let me blow you because you make dance music and thats genius"

All the wolf bands in canada, arctic monkeys, franz (who aren't bad but their to blame). I don't get it, I don't think your edge for playing in quadruple meter.

And who voted yes? Show yourself, lets hear it.

the difference being most if not all the major players in the market during the 90s had talent. now how can you class the likes of james blunt as groundbreaking or even talented? anybody can write a mushy song with a chorus that contains two words.

it honestly wouldnt surprise me if a cornish sheep farmer wrote a song about how his goldfish enjoy swimming, added a banjo into the mix, put a couple of funny sound effects in and bobs your uncle - a number one single. its always been the way, the truely talented acts rarely get a looking in the British charts as numskull idiots value novelty over talent. has always been the way in Britain.

Is bob my uncle? Well I know thats not true
Is it like bob for unlces like bob for apples? Thats beyond the acid trip

Help me out man.

I think it`s much worse for that in America , I think it`s much easier to chart on small labels here than it is over there.

Amen. Almost impossible to chart on small labels.

I'm a pretty big fan of the brit-rock bands i've been hearing recently. And Jack Johnson, though not british, makes some dope music.
