Default Bargains and Hard to Finds....

Tell us where you managed to buy a hard to find CD or which shop you got a great bargain from. Help out your fellow forum-ites!

There's a shop called Fopp! In Solihull by where I live. I don't know whether it is an independent shop or whether it is worldwide-I haven't seen one anywhere else. But it has some great bargains. It has a stand dedicated to rap where basically everything goes for a £5.

Now could someone tell me where I could get Beck-Odelay from where it's cheap. In HMV it's £16.99 and I think that's pretty expensive. There must be somewhere that I can find it much cheaper.

Fopp is throughout the UK.. i get loads of cheap cd's from there.

Another good place to to check for bargains is Amazon. Just go to the sale section and order by price...

Cheers, although I do like my stuff to be first hand. Especially CDs.

Some of them are brand new and still packaged. You should take a look.

The good thing about HMV is that you can tell how good an album usually is by the price. Great albums are so overpriced it's unbelievable, so then when you see an overpriced album you hunt it down for cheaper in other shops.

theres a place down by me called sullivans, most maiden albums dont go over £7 there and the rest of the cds are pretty cheap 10-12 quid a cd, little bit better than other places, plus theres always a sale there...

Sainsbury's have the David Bowie greatest hits double album going for 8 quid. I haven't seen that cheaper (first hand) anywhere else.
