I don't know what you mean, but while I enjoy the song, its not really what I want to hear in concert.

Contemplation is for books. Concerts is to let go and enjoy yourselves.

Shooting for a Nellie McKay show tomorrow night.

I saw him open for Oasis at the Oracle Arena last wednesday, and it was kind of terrible. I don't think it was entirely fault, I think it was kind of a mix between me not particularly fond of this now long past Whiskytown pop sound, and terrible mixing.

I mean don't get me wrong, it was really nice to hear "come pick me up" live, which still gives me chills at the "smash all my records" line for some reason, but the mixing was so bad that I couldn't hear any word due to what seemed to be some sort of clipping. I was singing along to that song, and I think the people next to me were appreciative that someone was translating at least that one song for them.

The video. I'm not vsure if I got it right, but I think I read that he recorded that video himself. Which would be weird. I think it's the only recording of that song available online...*unsure*

I'll have to resort to illegal means then. There isn't an iTunes option.

Did anyone else know that he actually shares a birthday with Brian Adams? How ****ing ironic is that
Can anyone recommend a few of his most consistent records other than Gold for me? And which ones to avoid completely?
