Default Great Moments In Rock

... or pop , or hip hop or anything really.

This is for you to use your imagination.Just write about what you consider a great moment in rock , it can be an event , a person , an album , a story ....anything.

I`ll start......

No 1 - Daphne & Celeste Play The Reading Festival 2000

You`re always going to be in trouble when you stick on a manufactured pop act on at a festival before Rage Against The Machine are due to play.Nonetheless thats what happened at Reading in 2000.And to the person who decided to do this I have one thing to say.... thank you thank you thank you thank you.

It was the moment when manufactured pop faced the hatred of it from rock fans. Anything & everything was thrown at them.Food , shoes , bottles (With & without piss) mud and 10 out of 10 for the person who threw an electric wheelchair at them (Seriously). They lasted 15 minutes before giving up & walking off. Music lovers cheered everywhere. They never had another hit again & return to the obscurity they came from. True music fans had spoken.

Truly a great moment in rock.

i would imagine the first time John, jimmy, and Robert ran off stage for longer then normal to do whatever drugs, living John to make his drum solo even longer.. which is how it started to get dragged out in the begining then the realize he really did a awesome job and he kept it up..only planned to be that long.. hense it always being a little different.

Kurt Cobain blew his brains out with a shot gun. That was a relief from an era that needs to be forgotten

Dear god, i hope you are joking... Because if you are not, you really need to think through what you just said, because it's the same **** i hear from a bunch of ****tards who decide that if they don't like a band, then that band member would die and then they throw a party.... You're smarter than this, don't be a idiot.

I don't care who, when and why, you don't praise someones death, thats just ****ing putrid, truely ****ing putrid.

One thing i'm tired of dealing with is people who are happy that Cobain died.

People like this deserve a good hard kick to the head.

And Big3, before you decide to jump out of nowhere and be Mr. self rightous super hero here, let's not forget that you are the guy who freaking explodes when people critisize Metallica... Now you can have a big rant about how i shouldn't rant if you want to.

I agree. Well, at least the people who're dicks about it.

But anyway, speaking of Cobain...one of my favourite moments in rock:

Nirvana killing hair metal.
