Muse is a great band, and with a great guitarist, I just love bellamy's style of playing, seems like he's paid careful attention to every single note he plays, and adds elements to the solos to get the maximum effect. just an amazing feel to what he plays.

My all-time fave is Jerry Cantrell.
He doesn't have all the speed and what not of most guitarist, but he has soul.

Pepper Keenan is also very good.
He let's his SOUTHERN FLARE be heard when he plays, and I respect that.

hands down, Micheal angelo, yngwie malmsteen, steve vie, joe satriani all those guys who can go rediculously fast and make it sound soo amazing, and have soo many werid tricks with feed back and all that, jimmy hendrix was INFLUENTIAL....THATS IT!

Jimi Hendrix is probably the best in history in my opinion, but I've never seen him play. I know he played with all his soul and heart, which made him the best. On the other hand, I've seen a concert on tv of Led Zeppelin, and Jimmy Page is really great. I was so amazed. I've never seen anyone play better, but then again, I've never seen everyone play. It's all in opinion, just like amyleefan (or w/e) showed us. Of course Jack White isn't the best guitarist. Maybe he has some talent, but if he was that good, would my friend be able to play better than him?

Personally, I think Tom Morello's a genius. I mean... come on... COME ON. Who'd make love to their guitar like that?

Cannibal Corpse? Your joking right? Terrible band with the most unoriginal sound. Like them if you will but please don't put them in the same sentence as Vai, Malmsteen, and Satriani. I mean come on. By the way I did try to learn the song. The basic riff isn't all that hard, its the speed he plays that makes it sound so hard. But whateva.

Default who's the best metal guitarist?

Which guitarist kicks more ass?

Kerry King of Slayer or Oli Herbert of All That Remains?
