i cant believe how many of you dont even mention page. he is the most amazing guitarist of his time, he had amazing talent unlike anyone else, and could solo like there was no tomorrow. i also believe that he was the 1st to use the bow on the guitar in dazed and confused. we can all learn from page, hes my idol.

I completely agree. Page is amazing and revolutionary. However, he was not the first to use the bow on the guitar. the idea was suggested to him by his guitar tech, who's father was a violinist as well as guitarist and had attempted to bow his guitar on a little-known album. |
