Do you mean John McLaughlin? oh he's just that obnoxious guitarist every Jazzbo have to mention to think they are hep, all he does is blow his whole solo with one supersonic indistinguishable note after another, do yourself a favor and listen to Wes Montgomery or Tal Farlow.

Jimmy Page, if you like him why not listen to the guitarist that influence him like Hank Marvin, Cliff Gallup, and Les Paul.
