Default This Is Your Captain Speaking.

I'm gonna guess noone's heard of them, or at least very few people. Do yourself a favour and hear them, they're one of the best post-rock bands to come along in a long, long time.

They're just as good, if not better, as Explosions in the Sky.

its very easy to do post-rock well.

its very difficult though to give it your own sound and make it interesting. to me they sound like just another average post-rock band, and im a fan of the genre.

Well, that's your opinion, no matter how wrong it is.

Anyway, I'd like to see you make a better album. (I actually would, more good music can only be a good thing.)

In my opinion...

Mogwai, Godspeed, Grails, Red Sparowes are particular favourites... Gregor Samsa, i also really like Loss of a Child and The Cinematic Orchestra.
