Quality stuff man, by the way I need to ask now what the f*ck does 'Snap' mean??? I saw a guy said it when I got banned before on the beatles vs rolling stones thread.

Have you heard the 'Rock N Roll Band' album? Excellent stuff eh?
Im just listening to 'Franz Hanzerbeak' just now, the guitar playing on it is mindblowing.
So what albums you got/like?

This band should have more love here.

I don't think SNAP means anything in particular.

And I actually haven't heard the Rock N Roll Band live album yet.
I love the self titled one, and my second favorite is Taught to be Proud. Yours?

Really? Well the live album is my favourite. The minute it ends and the studio stuff starts playing all the energy seems to diminish a bit and it kind of gets turned down a notch or two (if you know what I mean).

If I had to pick a studio album it would be Living In Between (2003).

Gomma Workshop is quite underrated, in fact no one really knows about them (or should i say him since it is done by one man) you can hear a song by them on their myspace and download the album there too for free which i thought was nice. Not really sure how to describe them except for layered but here it is, Gomma Workshop on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads try listening to bruitages or mangiabimbi. Their stuff is really quite addicting and you will hear something new everything you hear it.

Strata is highly underrated... I wonder how they'll do now that Eric has left, but... Damn, they have such a great sound. Worth checking out.

The Beatles (the middle years - everyone talks about The Ed Sullivan Show or Sgt Pepper era but very little is said of Rubber Soul or Revolver)

Genesis (Peter Gabriel era)

The Ramones (I'm not a big fan but everyone gives S.. Pistols credit for Punk when they were influenced by The Ramones)

R.E.M. (the IRS years)

The Strokes

Haven, although British, were definitely underrated. So underrated that they stopped making music .

uh, wrong?

The Beatles - have no place in a discussion of underrated bands

Genesis - Peter Gabriel era was the "good" era, a lot of people don't even rate anything afterwards that highly

The Ramones - one of punk's sacred cows, they've definitely got a place in popular history, **** just watch Rock n Roll High School

The Strokes - are one of the most consistently OVERRATED bands by indie and mainstream press alike, spearheading the post-punk revival and countless barrette-wearing douchebags everywhere
