they're album is really good. but nobody respects or has even heard of them really
i didnt know about them until they opened up for avenged sevenfold on the last tour
but they're good

Nitpicking is the core business of the internet message board... its what keeps it alive and keeps us all responding!

According to the discussions on this board, none of my favorite bands, nor even any of my little sideline discoveries qualify as underrated...

But my nitpicky brain still wants to know what system we are using to "rate" bands....hehehehehehe...

Let's stop giving people sh*t for thinking a popular band is underrated.

"Underrated" is when a band doesn't get as much credit as you think they deserve, so with that in mind I can use the term to describe any damn band I want, I could call The Beatles underrated and you can't tell me I'm wrong.

A refreshing way of looking at the whole "underrated" notion... popularity does in some cases even make people under rate bands... like say when they write them off as commercial hacks when they have one popular song...

Yes but the fact that the Beatles are widely considered the greatest band of all time, a title which makes it impossible to rate them any higher, one could make the argument that the Beatles are the ONLY band that isn't underrated.
