Two classic albums and they're the ones I haven't listened to much by either bands. Sonic Youth will almost always win against the Pixies for me so I'm going to have to go with them. Silver Rocket is such an awesome/underrated track.

I love Daydream Nation, I agree with +81, Silver Rocket was always my favorite song off that album.

This really is a no-brainer. Daydream Nation wins this easily. Come to think of it, Doolittle would lose against the majority of Sonic Youth albums if I have to choose. And yes, Surfer Rosa is better, at least I like it much, much, much more. (I'm not sure how this makes me pretentious

, but whatever, boo boo, whatever)

And since trace posted videos pushing for Doolittle, let us now remind ourselves why Daydream Nation is so powerful

Doolitle is a great album but Daydream Nation a masterpiece and something very special. So without doubt Daydream Nation.
