I hope by stating "two of the best albums ever recorded", that you mean by the bands Devo & The Cars themselves, and not comparing these two albums to the standard or quality of recording by other bands and artist.

The Cars had this one wrapped up before it began, as far as that goes. It seems like an easy choice to me, The Cars. (I never really cared that much for either band personally, they both get irritating and monotonous after listening to a few of their songs at any one given time). But that's just me.
