Sadist - Tribe (1996)

Death metal and world music's favorite lovechild. The floating, almost mystical keyboard work here contrasts wonderfully with the skull cracking riffs/drums/bass that keep this record grounded in lovable violence. Quite a trip so far!

The Psychedelic Furs - Forever Now (1982)

Post-punk with a pop sensibility...or perhaps just a bunch of New Wave grooves that fumble amidst Gothic synthesizing and the occasional howling of an alto sax. Recommendable to the nth degree in either case!

A tribute to My Blood Valentine's 1991 hit album Loveless with the vocals replaced by a steel guitar and the distortion replaced with clean tones. Could be horrid, could be awesome.

Same with Swansong, been on my hard drive for a while and I found a used copy within my price range.

I have A - z by Colin Newman which is a damn good album.

It's weird, I liked that album the first couple times I listened to it but found I completely lost interest in it very quickly.

Well we'll see if this album can survive the test of time.

I'll be curious to hear if you have a similar experience with it. Though I'm probably affecting the outcome of this little experiment by even talking about it. :)

The last Album I got was Ke$ha. Not a fan of her lyrics but the beat of her music. Its the kind of music that makes you want to get up and dance.
