Despite the terrible artwork, this is a decent, gentle Prog album with a folk influence from 70's Germany that eschews the usual Electronic influences of early Krautrock and is instead full of great guitar work. Definitely a product of it's time but a solid album nonetheless.

In fact if someone asked you what hippy music sounded like you could thrust this upon them.

Goth week has inspired me to expand my deathrock collection beyond Christian Death.

One of my favourite bands.
Oh and 45 Grave are quite enjoyable if not a little camp.

Well dude I'd expect a genre that's a mix of gothic rock and horror punk to be just a little bit campy :P

As for Rudimentary Peni, I've heard of them, but I never really bothered to look them up.

Yeah, a bit of campiness is good sometimes.
And you should get either of Rudi Peni's first 2 albums, both fantastic just avoid their reunion album which was horrible.

Eilen Jewell - Sea of Tears (2009)

A country album recommended to me on RYM. I haven't had a chance to listen to it, but I did get to hear a few songs on youtube before downloading this and so far I likey. She's supposed to have an album of Loretta Lynn covers too...could be interesting.

Nah it's definitely not power metal. More like thrash with black metal themes, vocals, and atmosphere.
