When you're done with that, get Medicine - Shot Forth Self Living. You'll be well on your way then.

I second this.

Her last album blew chunks horifically.

I'm officially enamoured with her first two albums though. Fingers crossed this one'll turn out be worth it as well.

Feist - Metals (2011)
Picked this up on cd today and I was very impressed with it. Her music strikes the perfect balance between being accessible and being very artistic, even reminds me of PJ Harvey at times. The depth of her songwriting is very impressive with songs ranging from quiet and introspective to upbeat and filled with hooks. Her voice is beautiful, captivating and carries her songs so well. Great stuff.

Seam - The Problem With Me (1993)
A very enjoyable yet sometimes sad and melancholic indie rock album. Although they were one of the bands associated with the "slowcore" tag they have plenty of characteristics that set them apart from the likes of Bedhead and Codeine. I'd been meaning to get into this band for a while and this album hits the spot nicely.

Seam - Are You Driving Me Crazy? (1995)
A good album but doesn't seem as enjoyable as The Problem With Me. From first impressions it seems to have a more upbeat and straight-forward indie-rock sound and nothing in particular really stood out. Hopefully that will change with a few more listens.

Only one other owner on RYM? Surprising to say the least. A nice blend of Roots Reggae and Lover's Rock not that that will make anyone check it out really.

Didn't even know they had a new album out even though it was in January! A nice return to form with Dub, Ethnic and Trip Hop beats back on the menu if that's your thing.

DFD are a more commercial version of bands like Mr Bungle if you will even if they don't sound anything like them but they do share that spirit of shoving genres in a blender and seeing what comes out. I think they are fantastic personally and the church organ is killer.

Awesome that you're enjoying Metals, Zero. My AOTY so far, easily.

And I just picked up

Which was very good, but I missed the middle of it because I was busy explaining a simple concept to a stubborn young man.
