I've listened to it a few times in its entirety and, I know I'm a minority, but it just makes me wanna listen to Yellow House.

I think they sound completely different.

Black Flag, Family Man. This is Black Flag's weirdest record, in my opinion. Mostly Henry Rollins spitting out abstract, angry poetry and three instrumentals at the end. The poetry is, for the most part, quite good. Very dark, sociopathic, nihilistic stuff. The instrumentals are probably my least favorite Black Flag songs to date. This album would have been better without their inclusion. This is probably my least favorite album from the kings of hardcore, but even at their worst, Black Flag is better than many other punk groups by miles.

My favorite "song" off this album is definitely "Let The Fingers Do The Walking." Great piece of poetry. I would love to hear a remix with some beats in the background. Or I'd like to hear a hip hop song that samples the "chorus." It's perfectly suited to some heavy beats.

Because of that album cover, I gave it a listen or five on Spotify. Damn, I really like this album, especially the spoken word portions of it. I've been watching a lot of dark movies and reading dark comedies and such, so I felt that this might be a good album to check out if the cover is that crazy. I've also noticed that I play like Henry Rollins when I'm super stoned haha. Anyway, ramble aside, I'm glad that you posted this so that I could find it.

Brother Ali - Mourning in America & Dreaming in Color

Fantastic album from one of my favourite underground Hip Hop artists. Another great Rhymesayers release in 2012.

THE CULT - SONIC TEMPLE

I listened to this purely out of curiosity, as it is the first Cult album I have listened to. I don't think I'll be listening to it again.

Billy Woods - History Will Absolve Me (2012)

Didn't feel this one. Not sure if I should give it another listen to really make sure, or if I should just write this one off.

Oddisee - People Hear What They See (2012)

I'm only two tracks into this one but I'm definitely feeling something from it, more to come on this one later.

I thought that album was pretty good. I vote you give it another listen. :)

^ I echo this statement. Really good album, the only problem I have are the features, who don't quite grasp the concept.
