Nice. Oracle's easily my favorite, and one of my favorite metal albums from the 2000's. I've always loved how deceiving their name is, it sounds like some pop group, but then you turn it on and get this hardass metal.

Like this Soilent Green album that I found in the pop/rock section of a used record shop. But I did catch on to some funny business being up due to the album name. Turns out it's some wild hard core/metal core/sludge metal with the most impossibly incoherent song structures ever.

Clutch - Book Of Bad Decisions
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtjDP00BiLo Still processing, but standard beard rock so far. |
^Great album as always, though it didn't quite blow me away like Psychic Warfare did. "How to Shake Hands", "In Walks Barbarella", and "Hot Bottom Feeder" are joining the ranks as some of my favorites though.

TFW you find out that Throbbing Gristle's best performance was prefaced by a performance of one of their best studio tracks.

Jasmine Guffond - Degradation Loops
Yeah, she probably shouldn't have piggybacked on the name of Bill B.'s piece, but it really is much more interesting than his work (sorry, man). Originally, it was a 16-day-long piece for an installation set-up, but it's been reduced to a half-hour version here. http://tinyimg.io/i/XGyiWox.jpg |
