The last albums I bought were: Flight of the Conchords's self-titled, Fugazi's 13 Songs, Alexisonfire's self-titled, a Doors compilation, Say Anything's In Defense of the Genre, Tool's Aenima, and The Velvet Underground's Gold.
Fugazi was kind of an impulse buy, since I just-so happened to come across it, and apparently it's amazing from what I've read. Currently listening to it and I'm really liking it. I'm not going to lie. |

It's one guy: JD Vernon. Makes the album even better methinks. |
I'm really started to get into listening to a lot of soundtracks while I'm at work. The latest artist that sparked my interest is yann Tiersen (of Amelie fame). My old college roommate sent me a file thorough Skype last night: It's the soundtrack from the documentary Tabarly. If you're looking for the same feel as what he did on Amelie, you will find facets in some of the tracks like yellow (where you hear the xylophone), but besides that, it's a totally different feel. Regardless, I liked it a lot and listened to that on repeat when I went to bed.
