Unitopia - The Garden
Unitopia - The Garden
Best CD of 2008 for me! Mark Olson and Gary Louris - Ready for the Flood is my latest purchase! Very good work...if you like CSN, Fleet Foxes, Chris Robinson, (album producer) solo work, and of course Simon & Garfunkel. Vocal based bluesy rock. |

...and what a storming album it is. Marks the midway point between their synthbased Pop and their forays into introspective Jazz tinged compositions. First Talk Talk album I owned and still much played.

Jim Martin - Milk and Blood Shit album, I can't believe I made it past the first song. Things stay obscure for a reason... |

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...und_of_joy.jpg I said I didn't like Sun Ra a while back, but now I really dig his stuff. http://manufacturedenvironments.com/...8musicians.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_eITv9-pSpi...320/liquid.jpg |
Getting into Sun Ra eh. Wonderful to hear that!
Anyway, since everyone seems to have this album but me, I went ahead and found it for myself- http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3253/...b6ea3d.jpg?v=0 Moondog - S/T (1969) |

Moondog is kind of disappointing. |
