I was surprised to find that I still know every note and lyric by heart even though I haven't even heard it in probably 15 years and I considered it a nostalgic listen even in 1995. I guess teen angst goes a long way..
Also, I found the production kind of refreshing and still-relevant. Some of these beats sound a lot like some of the electronic music I like that's coming out today.

It's funny but the memories that album brings back for me are of mowing my parents' lawn while listening to it on my walkman.

Rephlex Records put out a ton of new stuff just before Christmas, including these that I just got and the last few albums I posted in here. Many unreleased AFX tracks on the Analord EP re-releases.

Skinny Puppy - VIVIsectVI

Decided to try working on an industrial play list tomorrow for my Zune and what better band to start it off with than one of the first ones, also from the same hometown as me. All the Skinny Puppy I've listened to has been in the car with other people, or at someone's party, yet I still have 3 ohGr albums...

Anyone else picked this set up? I'm still making my way through it but the remasters sound great.

^ I ordered the mono remasters from amazon. They should arrive next week.
I really can't wait anymore actually.

Contains a thrash metal version of A Forest by The Cure, I mean what more could you ask for?

Sadly the track entitled This Charming Man isn't a Smiths cover. :(

:thumb: Though they weren't actually one of the "first" industrial bands, they're technically second wave but perhaps one of the first of that second wave.
