Ive found that listening to albums based solely on the album cover has a very high rate of success for me.

Trey Anastasio - Surrender to the Air

Anastasio does free jazz, it's about damn time. I can hear some heavy Sun Ra and Miles influence in this, which is a good thing especially since the group pulls it off very well. As I'm too lazy to dig through his discography, anyone know of any other Anastasio albums like this?

This was brilliant. Very gentle, very mellow, and the male/female harmonies are wonderful.
