I saw these guys with Judas Priest a few weeks ago. They aren't great at all, but they know they're terrible. They make fun of themselves on stage.

Not as good as Sunn O)))'s other work, that's for sure.

EDIT: Just listened to it again, damn has it grown on me. Still not as good as Sunn O))) alone though, but that's seriously difficult to top.

Almost everything by them is awesome. Also if you're going to try folk punk try out anything by Pat The Bunny, Ghost Mice, Paul Beribau (think I spelled that wrong) , or the Front Bottoms to get you started.

You should be able to find it anyway, Overcast, but it's spelled Baribeau. I'll second Machine's recommendation of his stuff - he's my favorite modern (that is, not counting Billy Bragg or Violent Femmes or whatever) folk-punk artist, plus he's from sorta near me.

I was really into Andrew Jackson Jihad maybe a year ago (so I was 13), but I don't really like them as much anymore. Knife Man holds up and I still enjoy the other albums, but not nearly as much as I used to.
