Go these on CD today in my local record store:

There was a whole bunch of interesting albums, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I tried Beth Hart for a while. She's not bad, but I just didn't get it.

I really liked Setting Me Free, though.

I don't actually fully get her music either, but it's roughly in the area of several things that I like, so I wanted to give her one more chance.

For the last money I have left this weekend, I ordered these two CDs online. Both of them brand new 2018 albums:

Doe Paoro - Soft Power

Talked about this one a bit in a journal entry I did yesterday.

Kind of an indie pop/alternative thing, but it feels pretty soul/r&b influenced to me.

Ingrid Michaelson's Songs for the Season

Getting ready for December! Also talked about this one in my journal.

It's christmas music. You might have figured that one out yourself.

Good album. It's no Tubular Bells, but I think it holds up as one of the better albums in Oldfield's large discography.

Been through one listen this evening. So far, out of the three Oldfield albums that I have, I'd put Crises and Discovery over this, but it's still good. Discovery is my personal favorite so far.

Also gave that Beth Hart album above one listen today. Actually liked it a lot more than I expected! A few of the songs were a bit cookie cutter, but there was a lot to love about the album as well.
