Strangely enough this has become my favorite Pink Floyd album... quite possibly because it doesn't suffer from the overexposure of later albums... but it's great to hear the ambition and synergy gathering in this album as they head full speed towards Dark Side of the Moon, stardom and, unfortunately, all the ills that brought with it...

But there is a strong well of creativity flowing on the Meddle album, thats for sure!

Just ordered the following on Amazon:

Kaman Leung - Lacrimal

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
(been listening to it too much to not own it, and pay for it. Plus at $7.99 new it was worth adding to get free shipping)

Swingin' Utters - Juvenile Product of the Working Class
(Also enjoyed a lot and need for the collection, $7.98 new)

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Oh and I forgot, yesterday I got the following used CDs at a local shop. Already had and enjoyed them all digitally, but wanted hard copies for the ol' collection:

Autechre - ep7

Venetian Snares - Detrimentalist

Meat Puppets - Meat Puppets II

I really liked the instrumentation but the vocals annoyed me about half-way through to the point where I had to turn them off.

That cover is great.

I haven't done one of these in forever, but here goes nothing...

Kenna - New Sacred Cow - Not a bad recommendation from khfreek
Matmos - The Rose Has Teeth blah blah blah - Love it
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible - Deserves the hype it gets around here
Archive - Noise - The last album I didn't have from them, and it didn't disappoint
MF Doom - Operation Doomsday - Awesome
Boredoms - Super ae - Nothing really caught on the first listen, worth another though
UNKLE - Never, Never, Land - great trip hoppity goodness
Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways - I really enjoy their early stuff
World's End Girlfriend - The Lie Lay Land - Dude doesn't get enough love around here

I love Boris but I havent heard those records, there are just so damn many of them that there is a hell of a lot out there I have never heard. I assume you would recommend those two as the ones I should be getting next? I have Heavy Rocks, Amplifier Worship, Rainbow and Pink. Oh, and the collab with Sunn O))).
