Nice one My brother's basically told me it's something I'll definitely like, so I'm looking forward to giving it a spin myself fairly soon.

Yeah, that does sound pretty awful. I haven't listened to it just yet, but I got through Blue Valentines not so long ago (which was excellent), and that's kinda inadvertently got me started on Small Change, Heart Of a Saturday Night (still my personal favourite of his 70s albums) and Nighthawks At the Diner again, so it may be a while before I give it a chance

By the way, if you're ever up for a link to Foreign Affairs, feel free to PM me.

Dog Fashion Disco "Experiments In Alchemy"

They sounded pretty interesting so I gave them a listen. Pretty cool album, I can see myself coming back for more.

Downloading this at the moment:

I remember feeling quite compelled to check out some of Joe and his Mescaleros stuff.... don't know why I never did that!

Yeah it sounded cool on a first listen. Not as awesome as Sandinista! but that's to be expected.

It's definitely worth it. Streetcore is a really solid album, and don't be surprised if a song or two gets stuck in your head.
