Picked up these 2 mofos on cd during my venture into town today

Sugar - Copper Blue
Bob Mould's post-Husker Du band. 10 blistering slabs of pop-rock genius and not a hint of filler. Bloody awesome album.

Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw
A stunning post-rock album with some really beautiful glacial soundscapes giving way to towering walls of guitar. An amazing trip.

Oranssi Pazuzu - Muukalainen Puhuu (2009)

Psychedelic Black Metal? Yeah alright.

Tell us how you find that one...I've got a soft spot for black metal and psychedelic black metal sounds interesting enough to check out...

Went on a bit of a music buying / downloading spree today to be honest, but it was a great day because of it! Spent most of the morning gathering up as many Strapping Young lad tracks as limewire would yeild, then downloaded Sound Awake and Themata by Karnivool... and while out shopping i also picked up load and reload by Metallica (underrated, IMO) and I finally caved and bought The Resistance by Muse.... just too many of those songs sound too darn good to these ears!

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I loved "Ride" from their "Who You Are" album, I'm hoping this album is just as good
