Well, I've never heard Elevator so I don't know how they compare. Make Up the Breakdown was their really big album though so you may know some of the songs off of it already, such as "Bandages".

I love finding albums where you think you won't know anything from it, then something you recognise jumps out at you. I remember going into a Built to Spill record with the mindset I dunno what I'm about to hear.. Then I recognised 'Strange.'

I'll give Make Up The Breakdown a listen, even though the lead singer's voice pissed me off on Elevator.

Me too, I like some of his songs.

Make Up the Breakdown is good, but I think Elevator is better. Middle of Nowhere is so damn catchy.

Their new album is total crap though

its funny sometimes how things like this can trigger memories.

I was driving down 495 to go to middleboro and this song was on. I say to my friend Megsy

"Doesn't it sound like he's saying "bag of ****"

she didn't take too kindly to that because she goes

"yeah, thats what their saying; bag of ****...idiot"

oh my god, she just got married. I ought to write this in the card I send to her.

I don't think I'm ever going to look at that song the same way again.

Urban, you said you couldn't remember any songs off the Kid Rock album. That's probably because you listened to it once and they were so bad you decided they weren't worth remembering

After reading this thread I'm seriously considering getting that Kid Rock album.

I thought my vote would go to Poison and then I saw Kid Rock. Don't worry about it Urban, many of us have been there! I myself own a NOFX album I hate their music!

I actually have that Johnny Thunders album, it sucks, but not as much as Kid Rock.
