As for Gnarls Barkley I happen to like him. His album is brilliant and diverse. His approach is original and refreshing. |
i still can't help but to get annoyed at people who dislike music that i personally love....
st.elsewhere is one of the best albums of the year....and i hate you all for not liking it....*is cross* |
In my world only my opinion counts :)

They either don't get it, or it's clearly too much for them to take in. Hehe...that should ruffle a few feathers... |

I've heard him talk in interviews, he sounds EXACTLY the same as he does on record. |
We've had this conversation before if I remember correctly...
His lyrics are phenomenal, and yes the flow and rythm is off but I think that is part of his appeal. And about him speaking the same way in interviews? In case you hadn't realised, that is the whole point of Skinner. He speaks the way he raps (even though I wouldn't class it as Rap) to give that whole 'down to earth' approach that makes his music seems so much more real. |
^ I think your craaaaaazzzaaaayyyyyyy:p:
Yuck. |
There are those who love him and those who hate him, I just happen to sit neatly in between. The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living was a great album but has kind of worn old now. I didn't really like A Grand Don't Come For Free, but that's the album that everybody seems to love. Although I think that's partly down to the radio friendly singles that were released from it.

You could easily think Gnarls Barkley is a solo artist. It sounds like a name, not a group, and Danger Mouse only produces. Cee-Lo wasn't mega famous a solo artist either.
