The Manchester District Music Archive is a new project set up to celebrate and preserve Greater Manchester’s musical heritage. We are aiming to archive and make available for the public every piece of music made in Manchester from the 1800s to the present day. We want to collect and exhibit related items such as videos, films, photographs, literature, artwork, posters, flyers, clothing and press.
