This topic is to tell people what music I like. These are some bands and artists whom I listen to, and I don't care whether anyone thinks that they're crap. They're not in any order (eg. genres), because I can't be arsed doing all that. So here goes:

So what music does everyone else listen to?

I listen to a lot of music, typing it all out would take too long. It's usually humorous-indie-emo-ish. But punk/rock too sometimes.
I'm not really into hardcore/screamo, but sometimes it's OK.

Up until registering here, I was somewhat closed as to the music I listened to. Ironically enough my tastes have grown wider even though I haven't left behind the bands I liked in the first place.

So basically, I still like the bands I've liked and now like some others. And I don't care if you guys think they suck. 'Cause it's my taste in music, and as I said in my introduction thread:

I'll listen to classic rock from time to time as well but I don't really have much of the music. I'm not a fan of country music -- just don't like the sound of the majority of it -- and I'm still not a big fan of rap, but I'm (slowly) becoming tolerant of it.

And I'm always open to new music, so don't hesitate.

thats a list of about 300 bands i like. its not particulay well develped or ordered yet as a) i prefer listening to CDs on my hi-fi and b) only been going a year.. but hey, i like all those bands.

Very odd music. Think a more folky Opeth. It's very good stuff.

Death seem like a good band. Which album do you recommend I start with? I've been meaning to get one of their albums for a while.

just as a matter of interest; Rust in Peace or Risk?

So far every Megadeth fan I know (with a few exceptions) thinks rust in peace or risk is their best album, and thinks the other is crap.

I'm undecided. Risk is a great album, but so is Rust in Peace.

I think Rust In peace is much better than Risk, which is my least favourite album. Other than Risk, I love all the Deth albums.
Hopefully their new one should be really good too.

yeah, I live in hope... I missed them when they played here, It sucked...

That's a shame. I haven't had the chance to see them live yet but I'll definitely go if they come to Glasgow after their new album is released. They'll be brilliant live.
