It still annoys me that tattoos are more socially acceptable on men than on women. I have one tattoo... it's only about 2.5x2.5 inches and I think it's nice, and most people I've met or romantic partners I've had don't care about it, or if anything love it.

Unlike you TheCunningStunt, I think generic tattoos like butterflies or dolphins or love hearts are in fact the ones that look cheap because they have no real significance or individuality... which is what most people aim for in a tattoo, isn't it?

I think tattoos look good on girls. I don't like those small heart and dolphin stuff because they don't look that good. Im more into girls having full sleeves or atleast a few bigger tattoos on their arms. Tramp stamps are a big turn off though.

For the record I don't mind tattoos at all. As long as they're not inkings of something that would be a real boner killer, like I'd have a hard time giving anal to a chick with Stewie Griffin on her back.

Actually I'd have a hard time giving a chick anything. Just phoning that one in before Caveman's inevitable insult.

Tatts arent necessarily a turn off for me but they can be. It depends what it is and where it is. If i like it, i like it and im fine with it. I probably wouldnt find one sexy though.

They can be a turn off though. For example, that above just made me throw up in my mouth a little. I would avoid that like the plague.

Agreed, excessively tattooed women are almost always a turn off for me

I disagree, I think they look cheap and tacky regardless of gender. But it's more so for women, because they have to be lady like. If a man did something that's generally more associated with a womanly act, they'd get the same treatment..

And I suppose, the only thing I'd let slide is a love heart. Dolphins and butterflies look ridiculous. What tattoo do you have? I wouldn't let it get in the way of something, but if I knew about it beforehand I'd probably shun a romantic interest.. if they were inked up what I deem to be tacky.

Well, no they dont. It all comes down to personal preference. As far as im concerned a woman can tattoo herself up good and proper. She can cover hersellf in them if thats what she wants to do. It just means that i personally wouldnt be interested.

You better watch out for Vegangelica buddy.

I suppose my liking of such un "ladylike" things as tattoos and head shaving leaves me vulnerable for many repressed homosexual jokes but the only "unladylike" things I really have a problem with are bad hygene and not shaving your legs or facial hair.

But stuff like what's on a woman's scalp or what's tattooed on her skin are very superficial concerns if you ask me, though I guess all things concerning physical appearance are, but a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman and if short hair length or a few arm and back tattoos is enough to turn people off then that's just something I don't get.
