Default The anything

Your new find, please inlighten me and tell me all about the new bands you have found, as your finding them...

I've just started listening to Built to Spill there yesturday when I took it off of my boyfriends hard drive.. Along with one of there albums I got another Sunny Day Real Estate album, and 2 other Appleseed Cast albums. This really makes me happy, cause there all kinds of indie alt sounding.. fits nice with my personality and makes me feel really comfortable with my thoughts and surroundings in the most uncomfortable moments. I think all three of those bands I've listed come from a bit of emo/punk sounding's.. well in my own personal opinion which probably isn't right.

the albums I wish to open you up too..

The Appleseed Cast - Mare Vitalis

songs on album are:

The Immortal Soul of Mundo Cani
Fishing the Sky
Forever Longing the Golden Sunsets
Mare Mortis
Santa Maria
Secret
...And Nothing Less
Poseidon
Kilgore Trout
Storms

All the songs on the album have interesting lyrics to them, and not many lyics but it flows nice. There is one song on the album that doesn't have any words, just insturmental, but very easy listening. Poseidon has to be my favorite song on the cd, it has very nice lyrics, very short, and the instruments sound awesome with the clear voice. Secret is also a very good song to listen to, lyrics are also very good to it. To be real honest, the whole album just makes a great one, every song just goes with the next, its been put together really well.

The Sunny day Real Estate album I took from his hard drive isn't half as good as diary, which to me is there greatest album.

Built to Spill is coming to fast, I'm enjoying this band so far, there songs I'm finding are starting to stick in my brain.. and I'm hoping to find more.

Nah you took the time to write it up we'll give it another chance. You don't need to bump and request a thread delete eather, if the threads already fading away onto the next few pages it will practically vanish itself.

Recently I've stumbled across Colour Haze, I made a thread on them in the rock forum, they're a 3-piece german outfit.

I think they're insanely talented, they have a myspace page and their sound ranges from alsorts; fuzz to psychedelica to progressive to soft rock to the classic rock sound back towards heavy rock. They have a vast sound and I'm definitely looking to find some more music.

Last night I found their latest album, Tempel, which I'll try to upload once the last song finishes downloading.

Great band, go find my Colour Haze thread
