I just fucking like to listen to music. I really don't care who you're signed too or if you're on the radio. I probably listen to more indie music but that's probably just because there's more of it.

And 90's emo is trendy? That must be why everyone listens to it. Gee I'm so ignorant.

Oh you didn't know? SDRE is getting back together and doing a stadium tour all around the world due to everyone suddenly liking them now. It's soooooo trendy.

At The Drive-In has 95,000 fans on Last.fm, which is more than "trendy" indie bands such as Wolf Parade or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

Besides, trendy doesn't necessarily mean popular, in the way it was being used and considering he showed a picture to prove his point he was speaking more about the similarity in fashion trends among all "emo kids" even the tru emo kids from back in the 90's.

At The Drive-In isn't emo and that was one person, you can't judge a whole genre on one person.

I wasn't the one making the judgement, and, forgive my genre misjudgement. Sunny Day Real Estate has a ton of fans too.

So what is At The Drive-In, exactly?

Not only emo kids dress in t-shirts and jeans. I hate to break it to you guys. In fact, a lot of people wear that. It's a fairly normal way to dress.

Post-hardcore, and really looking at that picture I don't see whats so trendy about the way he dresses. Like beat yr own kid said, its a fairly normal way to dress.
