Default Kasabian Empire Album

I have purchased the new Kasabian album today and after not being to amazed by the first album i have to say this new one is awesome. I wondered if anyone else on here has heard it and what do they think?

I got it today

It`s not bad , it`s not as instant as the debut album but that could turn out to be a good thing in the long run.

Shoot The Runner is great
You can`t beat a bit of 70s glam rock stomp

I liked the old album, it was very anthemic and ballsy.

I love the song Empire aswell, and as soon as I can piece together the money I'll get it. Until then I'll continue to argue with all the Kasabian haters about their personality.

We need a few more ****y rockstars who say what they think.

I used to trash Kasabian for their personalities because they said how great they were and they didn't come up with the goods. Judging by the new song they may actually be right, its pretty good.

I picked this up while on "the big shop" today, looked at it...then put it down.
I almost bought it, but remembered the last time I did that and ended up with the last Strokes cd.

Is it worth buying blind?

i would say no...at least judging buy the lead single...i think you can preview it on nme.com...and i have a download link if you'd like...it reeks of mediocrity...

I bought the Specials first album blind the other day, turned out to be one of my better decisions lately

I downloaded it today, only listened to it once through, but I liked most of what I heard.

I quite like the first album now as well, although it's taken ages for me to discover I can listen to it without getting bored.

Empire is a really good tune though.
