Ozzy's voice post-Sabbath is not great, and if someone covered the songs it would almost certainly be better.

Ozzy had a great voice, especially for Sabbath.

That said, I think Bill Ward should've sung a few more tunes for them.

Hate that gimmick where people move their voice up and down in ways that rhythmically and melodically reflect and build on the accompaniment.

Do you just not like the genre?

You already know he hates metal. Why should this come as a surprise? This opinion of his is about as relevant as me saying Dizzy Gillespie couldn't play drums for ****, or whatever. His opinion on metal means nothing.

I mean, he was a trumpeter, so that's probably a relevant opinion - even if you dislike jazz.

See? Shows how much I know about jazz! But if I advanced that opinion, would you give it any credence? Hey: maybe he WAS a **** drummer!

I'm just saying that you can't take anything at face value that comes out of the keyboard of a guy who professes to hate metal. It has no validity at all; he's already dismissed the entire genre so who cares what he thinks about Ozzy or anything else? He's the same with soccer, slagging it off in another thread, as if he knew anything about it.
