Black Sabbath = not so good

Can someone on here tell me what is so great about this band, other than them being somewhat instrumental in the invention of hard rock? I cannot seem to get into them, or find their music very interesting.

I have to lawl at every person on here who treats them so messianically. Every country-lovin' person where I'm from likes this band. The staple of their music collection is like- a ton of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Metallica, and Black Sabbath.

I can understand someone not liking Black Sabbath.

What I don't understand is why someone would prefer Ozzy Osbourne's brand of lame pop rock over it.

Saying Jimmy Page is better than Jimi Hendrix is like saying something with no creativity at all is better than something with alot of creativity.

I'd argue that a bland car with 4 wheels is better than a really creatively designed one with 1 wheel.

That's fine but when one cars most popular...uh feature is stolen from another car it's hardly a very creative car is it?
