I don't find Patton's vocals annoying in anyway whatsoever! I really like them, actually...

Depends for me. I think Faith no More and Mr. Bungles are great. I also like Fantomas, because at least it's reasonable.

However this solo 'music' like Adult Themes for Voice or whatever, is completely devoid of any real musicality, and I'm tempted to say that anybody who tries to say otherwise is just trying to stand out.

Yeah, I'm tempted to disagree with the first half, sure, but the second half of this post is filled with so much truth it's bursting at the seams.
