the streets. first album, innovative, groundbreaking and generally genius. second album, commercially successful, strong songs, though originality suffered due to the apparent mainstream direction. Third album, pile of sh!t.

Good for a couple laughs, I didn't really think there was much to them beyond that.

His third album was awful - self-indulgent whining about how rubbish it is being famous and seeing your face everywhere. Really damaged his credibility as an artist if you ask me - there's nothing more unbearable than a rich famous person moaning about their lot.

But I still like his first couple of albums - hopefully he's somewhere chilling out on a mountaintop right now and getting over the 'troubles' of his fame so he can get back to do what he does best.
