I am trying to figure this out (indie, u2, The Police)

I have this sheet of paper that as all these symbols/pictures depicted in a scene that all represent an musical artist. such as cops = the police, or two girls with scissors on the = scissor sisters, or guys with lemons as heads = lemonheads, or a woman holding a wolf in babys clothes = wolfmother..
There are three I am stuck on that I can't figure out.. 1. A golden retriever with a Superman collar 2. A raven/crow holding a golden ring that says strong on it 3. A hang noose

I hope someone can help ! Thanks

That doesn't make any sense at all.
How do you explain the Owl and the sign with two "U"s on it?

You are only looking at one aspect of the picture.

the two u's is U2 and the owl I am guessing is The Who... Its 3 seperate artists in that one image there

I would agree with U2. I heard there's an indie band called Superdogs. Not sure though. But very interesting.
