Coldplay - Yellow
Queen - Save Me

Coldplay are especially helpful if you're feeling suicidal.

A few songs to add to the mix...

Holes on the Floor of Heaven ~ Steve Wariner
Two Teardrops ~ Steve Wariner
Help Pour out the Rain ~ Buddy Jewell
If I had Only Known ~ Reba
Heaven ~ DJ Sammy feat little girl
Sweet Dreams ~ Patsy Cline
I Love You This Much ~ Jimmy Wayne
Concrete Angel ~ Martina McBride

Yeah a good portion (all minus one) are country...just give them a chance

alkaline trio is really great with sad music...also try "enjoy your day" and "blue in the face" --andriano's voice on those songs, is really awesome.

Smashed Into Pieces - Silverstein (i don't know its pretty sad at least to me)

hands down the saddest song I've heard is Constantine by Bright Eyes (i think its constantine anyway)

...but home is nowhere by AFI is pretty down too
