But on the plus side he isn`t Robert Elms , Tony Parsons or Julie Burchill

Im not familiar with Robert Elms but Im too familiar with Tony and Julie for my health. Those hacks wrote a book at the height of punk rock in 1977 called The Boy Looked At Johnny that essentially declared punk already dead. It was an excuse to insult as many bands as possible and stir up controversy and a badly written, boring excuse at that.

I've only been around for 24 hours but I've already noticed the level of knowledge some of the members here have. I think I'll be learning lots during my visits.

I tend to get my own music from recommendations from friends, family, Radio One and last.fm's many radio stations. I get a lot of inspiration from forums as well. I don't really read any magazines.
