Honestly, they don't suck. I just didn't find them that interesting. I like bands that capture the whole gammet of emotions. In that song, Lua, he was just sitting there playing guitar, and singing, and never really changed the whole song. Does he ever get mad, and like yell, and sh*t?

Lua is off Wide Awake which was meant to be a folk/country album. If you want a song where he yells and stuff check out like, On My Way To Work, A Perfect Sonnet or Haligh Haligh, A Lie, Haligh.

why are you basing his songwriting skills off of that?

there are many highly influential musicians, who didn't rely on screaming to get their emotion across through music...

Now you're putting words in my mouth, PHP, I never said that. Yeah, right. I love the Beatles and Bob Dylan. To say the Used suck, more than likely makes you one of those. Have you noticed not too many people on here like them? On this site it's cool to think The Used & MCR suck, just because people want to be ahead of the crowd, and be listening to new stuff. If you were older and didn't give a da*n what people thought, and listened to those bands with an open mind, you would probably like them, too.
