Um, no.
George, started played guitar when he was 11 years old.
When John was very young he was taught how to play the guitar, banjo, and piano by his mother. His mother died when he was 17, therefore she obviously taught him these things before he was 17.
Paul began playing bass and guitar at the age of 13, shortly before his mother died.
And Ringo had already been in a band, for which he was the drummer, previous to joining the beatles.
So your info was incorrect

does learning young make you good? no it doesn't, i know people that have played guitar for years and still aren;t that great. i'm sorry but there songs weren't the hardest things to learn, they never really went out of there ways to come up with something overly amazing on the drum or guitar.. to me they just weren't the best instrument players.. they did get better as the beatles went on and afterwords.. but when they first started i don't think they were they great at all.. they could sing and make a good catchy song..

HAHA!
George had been playing guitar for 10 years, avidly before joining the beatles.
Paul picked up his guitar and played, and practised nonstop after his mother died at 14.
John was instrumentally talented from a very young age.
And ringo had alreatd had previous band experience, in which he was an accomplished drummer.
Not to mention the fact that when the beatles started, each of them had previous band experiences.
You just come into threads and say stuff hoping that no one will be smart enough to call you out on it. Well, it has happen twice

no actaully i didn't come in here just post and get away with it.. i know that there's people here that will challege what i say.. and i admit i have nothing to show you what i'm talking about. so you can't just believe what i say.. but listening to most of the beatles songs, listen to the drums.. the beat.. you tell me that what he was playing is that challeging for a drummer.. no my ex is a drummer and not that great of one, and he could sit down after listening to a beatles song and play it almost perfect.. there was no real challege to there insturment playing..

That doesnt mean they sucked at their instruments.
They were quite decent at them, the songs they wrote just didn't require wanking guitar and epic drum solos.

He didn't suck at the drums.
He never had a great need to display some kind of lame dramatic drum solo.
He wasn't a great drummer. She just said that they just picked what instruments they liked, and then learned how to play them. Which is wrong, since they all had previous knowledge of how to play their instruments

no doesn't mean they completely suck your right.. they didn't.. but they didn't seem to challege themsvles either. they never sucked bad just not that great.. they could have been greater.. which would have been insane back then.

and to challege themsevles i don't mean to have guitar and drum solos, i just mean it could have been more.. other then the basics..

Now you are retracting your statements?
You said that they didn't know how to play their instruments when The Beatles started.
Now you are saying they were good, but didn't challenge themselves. You don't make any sense
