our media teacher thought it'd be a good idea to let us watch some group animal-rodent-bird orgy when we were 14/15.

Until Kill Bill it was one of the biggest, recently made "cult" movies around!

We could chat cult movies all day long. Kill Bill is not a cult film. It was Mainstream, made lots of money, spawned a trainer (sneaker if you are American), and is well known to lots of non movie going people.

THE STATION AGENT
CODE 46
24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE
HIDDEN
ICHI THE KILLER
AUDITION
TETSUO
DEAD MANS SHOES

are just a few examples of recent cult films.
