Sorry, but I really prefer Vanilla Sky version
By Rihanna I don't like especially the part "umberlaaa-elaaa-elaaa-a-a-a-a-a" It's silly for me

Except Johnny Cash... Right?

Yes sir I didnt see that one, but The Limp Bizkit one kinda blinded me.

I dig Johnny and Joe Strummer's cover of the Redemption Song most though

I LOVE YOU.

That's one of my favorite covers ever. And one of the last songs either of them recorded. Beautiful version.

<3

I've been on a big Mescaleros kick lately, so of course I'd have to include that. I remember hearing about it when it came out, I was so damned excited.

I can't really think of any other covers I like a lot.

This hurts me soul though, as this is my favorite song of all time

I think I know more bad covers than good

One of my favorite psychedelia songs condensed into dub media, just listen to the bassline at 1:30 and tell me it isn't orgasmic. Something tells me Roky Erickson would have approved.

Jose Gonzalez has made a bunch of good covers. I like his music a lot in general and he plays his covers in the same style as everything else he does so they come off sounding very natural while still getting to the essences of the originals.

This may never happen, and it may also be a bit off topic... nevertheless I'd totally love to see a band like Radiohead cover an old Midnight Oil song called Scream in Blue... brilliant song that would totally suit Thom Yorke's vocals perfectly :-)
